proximity to historic and natural sites, spacious public areas, sufficient parking for large vehicles
The decor is tired and in dire need of a refresh!!! Noise from adjoining rooms creates a restless atmosphere!!! Hot water inconsistencies in the morning are frustrating!!! Limited bar hours hinder enjoyment during peak times!!!

The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with captivating views of the real Scottish countryside making for lovely walks.
The decor felt dated, like a trip back to the 70s, and cleanliness left much to be desired, with visible stains on the carpet, chairs, and bedding. Lacking air conditioning turned the room into an uncomfortable sauna, making a restful night elusive.

The staff was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay, while the cozy lounge with a fireplace was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. I loved the option to chill out in the garden or dive into the heated pool for some relaxation. The only downside was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty at times, but overall, it was a lovely experience! 😊

Had a fantastic time with friends, exploring the nearby nature paths and enjoying lovely walks along the river. The staff were super accommodating and really made us feel welcome. The hotel is clean, which is a big plus. Definitely recommend it for a group getaway!
Only downside was the breakfast options. it lacked variety and could be better.

I enjoyed walking along the river and watching for salmon. The area had many natural sights. I found the environment calming and a perfect escape from my usual routine. I sat in the conservatory, surrounded by plants, and felt at peace. After a day of exploring, I appreciated the bar's relaxing atmosphere to unwind. During my stay, I encountered a guest who complained about various issues, which made me appreciate my overall experience even more.

Cozy vibes, but needs some TLC
I stayed here and loved the comfy restaurant atmosphere, but the rooms felt kinda outdated. The staff was friendly and helped with any issues. The whole vibe was chill, perfect for unwinding. Just wish the dining options were more varied, and the chairs were a bit more comfortable. Not the best sleep the first night due to the mattress, though.
